The beginning

YoungLimWon Soft Lab's office in Vietnam

YoungLimWon Soft Lab opened a representative office in Vietnam, and K.System operated as that Vietnam office.

YoungLimWon Soft Lab was established in 1993 and developed the first ERP solution in Korea, then expanded to China, Japan, and Vietnam. By then it served more than 400 customer companies.

A defining step

The company is established

On 18 December 2008, K.System was officially established as K.System Joint Stock Company. Its international name is K.SYSTEM, and its main business is software programming.

The first address was Room 703, No. 101 Lang Ha Street, Dong Da, Hanoi. Tax code: 0103089225. Director: Mr. Kim Jin Hwan. The company started with 6 people.

A hard start

A difficult beginning

The early days brought challenges in people, products, customers, partners, and revenue. The dedication of Director Kim Jin Hwan and the staff, the support of the board, and the trust of customers and partners carried the company through this period.

First projects

The first projects

The first contracts included Global Dyeing, Vina GE, Samsung Industrial, Hyundai RNC, and Chestnut Vina.

The first project was completed with positive feedback. K.System began to be known in the market and grew step by step.

A wider market

A wider market

Larger contracts followed, including LS Vina, Keangnam Vina, and Unico Global. The company became better known in the job market and recruited qualified people.

Capital was recovered, and the company started to earn a profit.

The product

Ksystem G&I becomes known

YoungLimWon's chairman visited and recognized the work of the team under Director Kim Jin Hwan.

Ksystem G&I became a known name in Vietnam. The company also received its first outsourcing orders for important projects.

Service

24/7 after-sales service

Projects in this year included KMV, Namsung Vina, Sungwoo Vina, Haesung Vina, Shin sung Vina, Hutchinson Vietnam, Taixin Printing Vina, Yamagata, MCNEX, and Shinhan Vina.

A 24/7 after-sales service was established, covering the path from before the sale through implementation, maintenance, and customer care.

Quality

A managed way of working

The company applied ISO 9001:2008 and later ISO 9001:2015. Together with Ksystem G&I, Ksystem Genuine became a main product.

K.System joined information-technology conferences, including Korea ICT Day 2014, and kept training its people and gathering staff and their families.

• Fewer than 10 process violations, and more than 90% of the process kept.
• More than 90% rolled throughput yield, and more than 90% of deliveries on time.
• A reply to the customer within 1 hour, and a problem solved within 3 days.

A new office

A new office, and hardware

The company moved to a larger office: 6th floor, CT1, Bac Ha C14 Building, To Huu Street, Trung Van, Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi.

A license to supply hardware followed, together with the first hardware orders and profit from that work.

Ten years

10 years, and Ho Chi Minh City

K.System marked 10 years and opened its Ho Chi Minh Representative Office, with Mr. Kim Jin Hwan as chief of the office.

The address at that time was 252 Nguyen Van Huong, District 2, Ho Chi Minh City. Tax code: 0103089225-001. The business reached Ho Chi Minh City and the south of Vietnam.

Looking ahead

18 years together

18 December 2026 marks 18 years since K.System was established, and 18 years alongside its customers.

Three commitments remain: best partner for customers, best companion for employees, and best friend for society.
